Registration Information

Thank you for registering to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Referring Veterinarian Appreciation Day, to be held in Gainesville, Florida on Saturday, June 6, 2020. We look forward to welcoming you to Gainesville and the University of Florida. The following information will assist your smooth arrival into “Gator Country.”

IMPORTANT!  Seating is limited.  This event will have a waiting list.  It is very important that you notify the Conference Department (conferences@dce.ufl.edu, 352-392-1701) as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation.

Location: (Address for GPS units): University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine at 2089 SW 16th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32608.

From I-75 and SW Archer Rd: (approaching from the West) Take exit 384 for FL-24 toward Gainesville/Archer. Head east on SW Archer Rd. (2.2 miles). Slight right at SW 16th Ave/Florida 24A E. Stay in right lane (.2 miles). Turn right onto Shealy Drive; then left into the Small Animal Hospital parking lot. Proceed slowly as it is pedestrian-travelled.

From US Highway 441/ SW 13th St:  (approaching from the East)  Head west on SW 16th Ave/Florida 24A W (.7 miles) Turn left at Shealy Drive; then left into the Small Animal Hospital parking lot. Proceed slowly as it is pedestrian-travelled.

Parking: Ample free parking is available at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine

Check-in: Program check-in will be held at the registration area inside the Small Animal Hospital between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. You will receive your packet of materials and a nametag. The conference starts at 7:50 a.m.

Meals and Refreshments: Continental breakfast and lunch is included during registration, along with a coffee break at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided from 12:30 p.m. - 1:50 p.m. The Dean's Circle Cocktail Hour will be from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Florida Pharmacy/Veterinary Medicine Law CE Credit: The session is from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. You will need to sign in before the session and provide your license number on the sign-in sheet. Sign-in tables will be located outside of the Banfield room. 

CEUs: CEU certificates will be provided at the end of the Conference. If you plan on attending the Pharmacy/Veterinary Medicine Law Session CEU certificates will be provided prior to the session.

Dress: Casual. You may wish to bring a sweater, as the meeting rooms are sometimes cold.
